SPUR AGENT (Baggage Hall) Heathrow Airport

 

dnata is seeking a dedicated Baggage Handler (SPUR Agent) to join in our dynamic airport team. In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining the terminal baggage belts and lateral systems for check-in luggage. Your keen attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within set timeframes will be crucial in meeting our Service Level Agreements.

Safety is our top priority, and you'll play a vital role in upholding a secure working environment in line with HAL, DFT, and company safety protocols. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough vehicle and trailer inspections, meticulously documenting any damages, and fostering strong relationships with our third-party customers and suppliers.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Spur/Bag Hall operations is ideal
  • Proficiency in both system-supported and manual baggage loading/unloading
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Valid UK driving license with a minimum of 1 year driving experience (preferred)
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to maintain a secure working environment
  • Successful completion of pre-employment checks, including: 5-year employment/education history verification, criminal record check to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, satisfactory medical report

 

Hours of work:

40 hours per week

The main roster pattern is a ‘6 days on, 3 days off' pattern with a mixture of early and late shifts with the earliest start time expected to be from 04:00 and the latest finish time is expected to be up to 23:30 approximately. On an all lates roster, it is expected you would be required to work between 13:30 and 23:30 approximately. Some flexibility will be required.
