Introduction to dnata

Today, dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers of Ground handling, Cargo Services, Travel and Inflight Catering.

Backed by over 58 years of proud history, we are now a performance-driven organisation; a global player on all continents; an innovator, and a customer centric business.

In the UK, we are currently providing Ground Handling, Cargo Handling and Transport services to 40+ Airlines, with operations based in London Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick Airport, Manchester Airport.

We also have additional Cargo Facilities at Newcastle, Birmingham and Glasgow Airports, as well as an extensive Regional Trucking Networking that covers a further 8 airports across the UK.

With a legacy of reliability and a commitment to innovation, we are proud to be a leading provider of Ground Handling, Cargo and Transport services in United Kingdom.

Ground Handling

Delighting our 11 million plus passengers per year across Heathrow, Gatwick, and Manchester airports is a key task for our Customer Service Agents, who ensure passengers receive an exceptional and timely check in and flight boarding experience.

Our airside teams load and unload passenger bags and cargo from aircraft, ensuring on time take-off and passenger baggage are at the right carousel ready for passenger collection.


Handling over 580,000 tonnes of cargo every year across 6 airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow, our warehouse teams ensure safe and secure loading and unloading of a variety of freight from luxury cars to live animals in liaison with the office teams serving customers and preparing flight documentation.


Utilising our fleet of 83 trucks, our transport team based at either Heathrow or Manchester ensure freight is safely delivered whether airport to airport or warehouse to aircraft.
