Management Support Officer

Are you skilled at supporting management teams and optimizing business processes? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Support Officer to join our team. In this critical role, you will provide essential support to the management team, focusing on operational efficiency and staff management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in developing and implementing labour plans to optimize business efficiency
  • Support the management team in maintaining consistent staff management practices
  • Establish and maintain operational facility services and processes
  • Ensure a safe and functional work environment for all employees
  • Overall ownership of the time and attendance system, excluding anomalies
  • Support management and planning teams with recruiting overtime
  • Collate weekly stats on labour costs and share with management team
  • Support management team with meetings, including document preparation and note-taking
  • Perform office audits ensuring compliance
  • Manage operational uniform ordering, distribution, and return process
  • Order and distribute personal protection equipment (PPE), maintaining adequate stock levels
  • Maintain stock levels of stationery items and user consumables
  • Coordinate first aid kit maintenance and restocking
  • Ensure drugs and alcohol testing kits, breathalyser, and consumables are in stock and up-to-date
  • Resolve vending machine and office equipment issues
  • Organize repair and replacement of furniture and white goods
  • Manage requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices in line with dnata processes
  • Coordinate workplace environmental repairs (e.g., lighting, HVAC, water heaters)
  • Undertake additional duties as required by management, commensurate with the role
  • Promote dnata's Vision, Mission, and Values at all times
  • Ensure best fit labour model is achieved on a daily basis
  • Ensure time and attendance system is managed accurately
  • Maintain a functional, clean working environment with proactive resolution of issues and adherence to dnata standards
  • Ensure accurate and orderly management of purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices

 

 

The ideal candidate will also have:

 

  • A good understanding of business and operational requirements
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and business efficiency
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Good understanding of airport and security procedures
  • IT competence and ability to use various systems and programs as required
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload and support daily operations
  • Familiarity with dnata and HAL Health & Safety requirement
