Dangerous Goods Regulator

The role is working in a fast-paced environment at Heathrow Airport alongside our prestigious Airline partners, helping to ensure their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world.

About the Role

At dnata we handle a variety of cargo, ranging from live animals through to luxury cars, ensuring it is safely and securely prepared ready to travel.

You will be required to carry out dangerous goods acceptance in accordance with the current IATA regulations upon arrival of shipments into the warehouse. In addition, you will be required to compile NOTOCs (notification to the captain) for customer airlines flights as required.  An element of the role will require the separation and distribution of cargo documents and liaison with customers to resolve any rejection errors for the shipment to continue to its destination.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous office experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidates who wish to share in dnata's vision, mission and values
  • Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report

Hours of Work

  • 42 hours per week
  • Both day & night shifts mandatory, with the earliest approximate start time as 07:00 am and latest approximate finish as 07:00 pm
  • In line with business requirements a 5 ON, 4 OFF roster pattern is available on a rolling 3 weeks roster pattern.
