Cargo Handling Professionals Wanted: Join dnata's Logistics Powerhouse!

Are you a meticulous and organised individual with a passion for logistics? We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team and ensure the efficient management of our airline's cargo and supplies.

At dnata, we handle a diverse range of cargo, from live animals to luxury cars, ensuring it is safely and securely prepared for travel. We're seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Warehouse Operatives/Cargo Handlers, playing a crucial role in our fast-paced logistics operations.

The Role As a warehouse expert, you'll be responsible for off-loading and loading cargo vehicles, operating forklifts and other mechanical equipment and towing to and from the Aircraft, as well as performing manual handling tasks. You will be using handheld devices to locate, identify, and process cargo paperwork in accordance with client requirements. Job Requirements:

  • Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Applicants must be fluent in both verbal and written English
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to candidates who wish to share dnata's vision, mission and values.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and workflows.
  • Flexibility to work both day and night shifts with a roster pattern.
  • Ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 years employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.

Hours of Work:

  • 42 hours per week.
  • Mandatory day and night shift, with approximate start times ranging from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • A 5 days-on / 5 days-off , 4 days-on / 4 days-off pattern on a rolling 4-week roster.

The job holder must have a flexible approach to working variable shift patterns within our 24-hour operation.
