Ticket Desk Agent  

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Ticket Desk Agent to join our brilliant aviation services team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service while managing a comprehensive range of ticketing operations for our partner airlines. The position involves handling ticket issuance, complex fare calculations, ticket modifications, banking transactions, and sales reporting, as well as collecting excess baggage charges and addressing varied passenger inquiries. Your expertise will be particularly valuable during flight disruptions, where you'll step in to provide crucial customer service support, ensuring our passengers receive seamless assistance when they need it most. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive skill set that includes strong leadership abilities and coaching expertise, complemented by strategic thinking capabilities. Essential attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven people and financial management experience, and proficiency in negotiation and influencing. We value candidates who demonstrate strong change management abilities, IT literacy, and natural motivational skills. The role requires someone who excels in decision-making and problem-solving, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aviation environment

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with proven ability to work under pressure using independent initiative
  • Work flexibly as part of a close-knit team to deliver exceptional service
  • Apply previous ticketing experience and customer service expertise within aviation
  • Effectively manage a variety of ticketing and reservations systems
  • Maintain thorough awareness of Health & Safety regulations, ensuring compliance and prompt reporting of any safety concerns
  • Actively participate in company safety systems and maintain a safe working environment
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management, in line with the role's grade
