Team Leader Ramp (belt)

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our dynamic workplace. In this pivotal role, you will ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment while upholding exceptional customer service standards in collaboration with the Shift Team Leader and Duty Manager. You will play a key part in managing day-to-day staff matters, fostering a positive team culture, and supporting leadership across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the ramp operation, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure staff and equipment are allocated to flights in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor and meet performance SLAs, maintaining high operational standards.
  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate team members to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Maintain a disciplined and compliant workforce, addressing staff issues promptly and professionally.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety standards across the operation.
  • Liaise effectively with customers to ensure service excellence and resolve any operational concerns.
  • Ensure full compliance with CAA and GAL byelaws, as well as dnata's internal policies and procedures.
  • Attend and contribute to operational meetings, providing insights and updates as required.
  • Support the Ramp Manager and wider leadership team in all aspects of the business.
  • Embrace and actively promote dnata's Vision, Mission, and Values in all aspects of the role.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the level of the role.

Please note: This position will be based on a 4-day shift pattern across set weekdays, with specific days to be confirmed upon appointment
