Responsibilities (detailed tasks):
- Ensure cargo operations deliver service excellence in a safe and secure manner whilst meeting financial targets
- Manage cargo operations processes in compliance with airline service standards and local regulatory requirements
- Meet KPI requirements of the stations
- Monitor performance against SLA's: seek continuous improvements in work processes to increase service standards and meet customer demands
- Raise security awareness and improve safety work practices
- Ensure the safety of staff, equipment and facilities in accordance with corporate, local and international standards. In cooperation with the Safety department, promote and develop a safety culture within the business unit to continually raise awareness and motivate safe behaviours
- Establish good customer contact and rapport with airlines and business partners
- Plan and delegate airline customer account responsibility for key customer airlines. Establish good customer contact and rapport with airlines
- Responsible for P&L
- Encourage staff engagement, participation and productivity improvement
- Maintain staff discipline and manage performance review and development of staff
- Investigate incidents or non-conformity in the department and recommend/implement preventive and corrective action
- Participate in certification and renewal audits of the department
- CCTV control in accordance with regulator guidelines in relation to aviation security and to ensure all CCTV data is protected in line with Data Protection Act 1998.
- Liaise with training department on training needs and scheduling of training
- Flexible across any other dnata facility as required
- To undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post
